Traditionally used by snorkelers and scuba divers to protect their head from stinging marine animals, the hood provides full coverage of hair, ears, and neck with a bib that gets tucked inside the collar of the swim shirt for a secure fit so that it doesn't come loose.
This women's full-coverage swim hood should be used with your hair worn down or in braided ponytails. NOT to be used with hair pinned up. Does not keep hair completely dry.
Clothing tip: For a cleaner look, less hassle, and for safety reasons, put the hood on first then put on your shirt so that the bib of the hood is tucked inside the collar of the shirt.
