How do I make a purchase?

We offer several convenient ways for you to place your order. You can make an online purchase via credit/debit card or through your PayPal account; or you can print your online order form and mail in your check payment. You can also place your credit/debit card order by toll-free phone or fax --24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We accept U.S. currency only.

You can also register an account. Registration is optional, free, quick, and easy, and comes with many perks, including:

(1) advance notice of sales,
(2) exclusive offers and discounts,
(3) faster checkout on future orders,
(4) receive news about Splashgear,
(5) updates on new product releases,
(6) updates from the Splashgear blog.

Registration may also help to prevent fraud--which is good for you, the customer, and good for Splashgear, the merchant. In order to protect against fraud even further, we may need to contact you directly to confirm your order before completing your transaction. Please review our Privacy Policy page to learn how Splashgear handles your personal information.

Please be assured that your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped. Also, your credit card information is NEVER stored in the Splashgear system, it is only passed through the payment gateway to complete the transaction. If you choose to pay by check, your order will be shipped once the check has cleared. We accept U.S. currency only.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax is collected on California in-state orders only. All orders outside of California, USA, are not charged any sales tax.

Does Splashgear offer custom and specialty orders?

At this time, Splashgear is unable to offer custom service on a regular basis; however, if you have any special needs, please contact customer service directly to discuss your situation.

Splashgear offers misses petite, misses regular, misses tall, and women's plus sizes. You may view those sizes on the Size Charts page, or at each individual product page.

How much does shipping cost?

Domestic Shipping
For domestic orders, customers have a choice between USPS Priority Mail and UPS expedited services:
  • USPS Priority Mail regular shipping estimated delivery time is 2-5 days from timepoint of order fulfillment (not order placement)
  • UPS Next Day Air express shipping provides guaranteed delivery by end of next business day - NO Saturday delivery (cutoff time for UPS expedited orders is 12:00 pm Pacific time Monday - Friday)
  • UPS 2nd Day Air express shipping provides guaranteed delivery by end of 2nd business day - NO Saturday delivery (cutoff time for UPS expedited orders is 12:00 pm Pacific time Monday - Friday)

Both USPS and UPS services offer tracking and insurance coverage. Sorry, no Saturday service for UPS shipments. Both USPS and UPS charges are variable and are based on weight and zip code. California customers should choose the more affordable USPS Priority Mail service option to receive their orders usually in 1-2 days (Saturday delivery included).

Splashgear offers reduced shipping charges, for U.S. orders only, if you need to exchange an item. Pay the full shipping & handling rate on your initial order via USPS Priority Mail service. If you need to return an item for a different color or size, pay reduced shipping on the exchanged item. (Reduced shipping on exchanges does not apply to international or UPS express shipping.)

International Shipping
International customers have a choice between the more economical USPS Priority Express Mail International or UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping service, both of which offer tracking and automatic insurance. Both USPS and UPS charges are variable and are based on weight and destination. If you have any questions about UPS availability to your country, please contact customer service .

Please note that Splashgear is not responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, or taxes. International customers are responsible for paying these fees if applicable. Furthermore, Splashgear is not responsible for the actions of delivery services within or outside of the USA. Splashgear does not contract with any delivery company outside of the USA and has no knowledge of how packages are delivered once they arrive in another country. You may wish to contact your local post office or UPS office to ask about their delivery protocols and any additional delivery costs.

Please note that Splashgear is not responsible for lost or stolen items or packages. Once Splashgear surrenders packages to the USPS or to UPS, Splashgear has no control of the package or of the delivery protocols or times of the USPS or UPS. For questions about your package, please use the tracking number provided to you by Splashgear to track your package at the USPS or UPS website. If your package is lost, you will need to contact the USPS or UPS directly to file a claim.

What is Splashgear's return and exchange policy?

Customer service is a high priority at Splashgear and we want you to be happy with your purchase. We ask that you check our size charts before ordering to be sure you are getting the correct fit the first time around. Ordering oversized clothing is unnecessary with Splashgear products as modest designs are already built into the line. By following our size chart, you should order your actual size for best fit and function. There are times, however, when you may need to return or exchange a purchase.

Splashgear clothing is swimwear and should be treated as such. Used clothing will not be accepted for returns or exchanges. If you are unhappy with the color or style, or the fit is not right, you are welcome to return or exchange unused products by mailing them back to Splashgear in their original packaging and condition within 30 days of receipt. Please complete and include the return/exchange form along with your returned unused items for processing. The items must be in resalable condition with the tags still attached to them. A full refund will not be provided on returned items if the tags are removed or the product has been altered from its original state. A reduced shipping and handling fee of $6.70 is charged for exchanges via regular USPS Priority Mail shipping with domestic addresses (reduced shipping and handling is not offered on UPS expedited services or for international addresses). Sorry, we cannot refund postage costs. If the wrong item was shipped or the unused item is defective, Splashgear will replace it and provide free shipping on the exchanged product. Splashgear is not responsible for the condition of products after they have been worn or used.
